Cerium Doped Barium Titanate (Ce:BaTiO3)

Cerium Doped Barium Titanate (Ce:BaTiO3) is an excellent crystal with superior photorefractive properties, compared with other common-used Photo-refractive materials. The formation of a Self Pumped Phase Conjugate ( SPPC ) wave is based on the backward stimulated photorefractive scattering in the air without any external seed beam. So, the reflectivity of the SPPC wave is highly insensitive to the incident angle and inclination, which makes it easily to obtain the SPPC wave. As a SPPC mirror, the photorefractive performance of a 0°cut Ce:BaTiO3 is better than the 45°cut one.

Notes:

· Main temperature must be from 13℃ to 120 in order to prevent phase change.

· One face polished is for SPPC mirror

· Two faces polished for two wave mixing.

· Six faces polished for SPPC.
